  Sightseeing in Yoyogi Park, visiting the great Meiji Shrine. Quite a lot of walking but it was worth it! Max enjoyed the bridges, gates and free spaces for running and Sam tried his walking legs…and just like his big brother…loved the the little rocks and pebbles…

• Zojoji temple

  We visited the Zojoji temple and were amazed at the numbers of little Jizo statues that were both so colourful and sad at the same time. The Jizo statues are the Buddist “angels” and are the protector of the souls of stillborn babies. They all had little red bonnets and many of them held colourful windmills.

  Max school put on a great show the other day and ended their theme of the month (Space and Earth) with a performance that included “ Fly me to the moon” …

  At the same time Max had to say Bye to his wonderful teacher Zoe that is going home to Australia… we will miss her very much!
