Beijing celebrates dragon boat festival and for us this means two extra days off work = a long weekend !!! For us this means more family time and play with the boys… we beat the heat and play indoors to start with….
We visited Max´school today for a parent/teacher meeting and got to take a photo of the “last part” of the silkworm story. The moths are out, they mate and the male moth dies and after the eggs are laid the female moth dies as well. All in all this takes about three days ….
Went to a furniture market today to maybe find something nice to bring home…. it is not an easy task, because there are so many things to choose from…. Any form and colour you can think of or want…. You name what you want and they make it for you. This will take some time…..
Max proudly showed me how they have made little red “houses “ for their silkworms. Some now are making their cocoons in them whereas some have chosen a corner. Everybody is now waiting for the first moth to appear.
Saturday evening we had dinner with friends and Max and Sam got to meet little Alice. We got home cooked Japanese food, the boys had a great time and we found the best “baby sitter” ever, a big red “chair”.
