  So finally, on a very rainy day, we left Tokyo, with 7 suitcases and quite a few carry-on as well…as always we travel in style…

  This is one of many little flower shops in Tokyo, and it’s closed.  I like this, that things are left where they belong. They put a net around the flowers overnight and they are still there the next day. Admirable I must say….

  Aoyama cemetery is a big cemetery in the middle of Tokyo.  It’s about 262 m2 and was originally the land of the Aoyama family. It has a section of foreigner’s graves too, mainly foreign experts who came here as part of the need for modernisation during the late 19th century.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  It’s easy to get lost but a peaceful place for a walk on a cloudy day before rainy season starts…
